Lots of Usable Space

The ice maker in the door and the many door shelf options make this a dream in usable space. A place for everything. The price you pay is the weight of the door that has the ice-maker. it's heavy to open and doesn't always close without an intentional push. Perhaps that is why they designed that clever "door open" alarm! The inconvenience of the door issue is far out weighed by the otherwise great design. Also love the extended height on the water/ice dispenser area.

The appliance has only the features needed.
It is quiet, roomy and keeps the food at the proper temperature whether in the freezer or refridgeration compartment
All that while fitting the space available in the kitchen.

I bought GE bottom-freezer model, we all like it, bigger space, brighter lighting, convenient to use. Fridge looks great with slate color, prevents finger prints...unlike stainless steel body.
