I purchased this refrigerator as a replacement for a G.E. which could not be repaired. Thus far, it has performed as it should and I am satisfied with it. I intend to purchase the extended warranty at the end of the first year.

Great looking Refrigerator

I purchased the refrigerator because I liked the look of the Slate line of appliances. So far it works perfectly. The only thing that disappoints me is that it does not have the retractable shelves.

Beautiful and Spacious

This product completes our suite. It is a beautiful and spacious fridge. After getting it installed it came down to temperature quickly so we were able to use it quickly. Getting the temperature adjusted was a breeze...push of a couple buttons on the front control pad. The water/ice dispenser area is nice and tall so it can actually accommodate a larger cup or container. The water dispenser works perfectly and the spout is in the perfect location (not too far back). The ice dispenser is good, not the quietest on crushed, but what ice dispenser is. Is it possible to design an ice dispenser that does not spit out small fragments of ice on the floor when you use the crushed setting? Ice container is kind of small. If you have a lot of ice users in your house you may want to move up to the 27 cu ft version with the dual ice makers. The LED lighting inside the unit is fantastic, nice and bright. The drawers are a great size and glide nicely - no more hard to open/close, squeaky plastic drawers. The reason I did not give it five stars is due to a humming sound I am hearing while the fridge is idle. Not sure if this is how the fridge is or if it is our fridge, I will look into it further.
