Worst dishwasher I have ever had we have 4 in the past in past houses etc. This was builder grade and had no choice when we built our house. This was supposed to be an upgrade. It is loud and doesnt get hot in enough the water. The repair man came out at 4 months said this is one step above really cheap!! Don't buy this dishwasher if you have a choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cleans well but top drawer is sticky, does not roll easily at all & already has rusted pegs

We've been using this dishwasher a month now and it has started leaking from the door. Other than that issue it does a good job of cleaning the dishes, and it is rather quiet. I just hope that once the leaking gets fixed we will not run into any more problems.

This is not a good dishwasher. I have had at least 4 broken glasses since using this product. The capcity is small. It came with new house package. Definitely would not have been my first pick of brands.

i wish i upgraded to different model

We built a new house, this was the basic dishwasher offered by the builder. We figured how bad could it be. Turned out very disappointing. It runs fine, cleans well enough but the rack layout is horrible. coffee mugs and most of the glasses we have don't fit along the outside edge of the rack. no great place for small bowls. i wish GE offered an alternative top rack. bottom rack layout not much better. we're running the dishwasher more often because we just can't load everything efficiently.

Occasionally ineffective

Sometimes this dishwasher is awesome. But one in every 5 washes there is sediments left on the upper rack. I have been diligent in not blocking the lower sprayer that rises to wash the top rack and yet still run into the top rack needing re-washed.
