Lemon?

We bought a home that had been completely remodeled and included a beautiful new set of GE appliances. We were so excited. . . until we went to run a load of dishes. The detergent door wouldn't close and would stick. When we did finally get it to close it opened as soon as we hit the start button. Our dishes are coming out filthy! (Yes we made sure the arm was not obstructed. However, we can't tell if the tower that is supposed to shoot up and get water to the top is functioning.) There is no arm between racks or on the top to help clean dishes in the top rack. But silverware (on the bottom rack) are not getting clean either. We tried a Pots and Pans cycle hoping the cleanliness would improve. No such luck. The detergent door did wait for about 4 minutes before opening with that cycle though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This came with our home purchase. Can't fit any tall glasses on top, silverware holder is in the middle of the bottom rack taking up too much space. I have to load the dishwasher multiple times just because the top rack doesn't hold much. It sucks.

This came with my new home that DR Horton built for me and it is horrible. Very loud and does not wash our dishes very well.

This dishwasher came with the drhorton house we purchased, therefore I had no choice. It is flimsy and does not hold as much as other dishwashers. The silverware holder takes up a lot of space. It does not clean or dry as well as other dishwashers I have had and is very noisy. We have an open floor plan so I cannot run it when the tv is on.

Horrible Dishwasher

This is a horrible dishwasher. It does not drain well and leaves residue in the bottom. But most importantly it does not wash your dishes unless you first wash them. We would have to rewash most everything that we put in there.

Do not waist your money

This GE dishwasher is terrible. Nothing fits in this dishwasher, the bottom shelf is to small and falls of the tracks and the door for the soap dispenser does not work. I have had a GE dishwasher at my old house and loves it. This one here is a different story.

It came in my new house & I thought GE would be a good product. Not the case. Worse dishwasher I've ever owned & after 49 yrs of marriage I've had a few. Small, noisy, doesn't clean well, hardly dries at all.
