This is the worst, most poorly designed dishwasher I have ever used. Do you like having clean dishes? Get a different dishwasher. Whoever designed this dishwasher should find a different career.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Dishwasher - We had an LG LDF7551ST Dishwasher that cost nearly twice as much back in 2013, and it always left the dishes wet and on many occasions, left the dishes dirty. This classic design which has been around since the 60s has a self-cleaning filter, heated dry, simple to use controls, and the loud noise tells you that its working! Since getting this dishwasher in 2022 (after they stopped making them), its worked great, leaving the dishes clean and dry. Its a pity that GE has discontinued this 50+ year old style dishwasher which actually washes better and is more convenient with a self cleaning filter. Hopefully they'll be available on retailers shelves for a few years.

We understand your dishwasher not working correctly would be concerning, and we want to help. For an issue with leaking, we do have tips on addressing that in articles on our website; you can view those articles here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=23644 .
We also have troubleshooting tips starting on page 18 of the manual, linked here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--Biv11ddW--/f5b8d2e4bf4305c1a51f7889c681d5f7f5ea4d0c.pdf .
If you’re not able to resolve your concerns with troubleshooting and think service may be needed, that department can be reached at 833-426-3393 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm . A technician would be glad to examine the dishwasher for any issues.
