Very quiet!

With my previous product, I couldn't hear the TV when the fan was running. Looks like it will be easy to clean.

This downdraft is only visible when it is needed. I like the sleekness with my cook top. I also like that this model has the switch mounted out of sight as well.

It is what I wanted after doing on-line research, and having previous experience with a GE counter updraft fan. I didn't want to drill any holes in my new counter/island cabinet to place the remote, so I had it attached inside the top drawer under the GE gas cooktop.

Poor power

Barely pulls in the steam from my cooktop. My cooktop is glass. Doesn’t even feel like it’s turned on in the hi speed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and effective

Does the job quietly and effectively. Removes the smoke and whatever emits from our stovetop so our house is not inundated with any cooking smells.
