I bought this range because I wanted to get rid of the glass top range I was using. The coil burners are tougher when it comes to using heavy iron pots and pans that I am a fan of. Now I don't worry about scratching the surface or worse breaking the glass. It also appears that the burners heat up quicker. Only a three star rating as the surface seems a bit crowded with the left front burner being very close to the front edge of the range. The oven works great however, the oven control panel appears somewhat thin and delicate. Would like to see it replaced with a material as tough as the rest of the range. Overall I am fairly pleased with my purchase. This model was not in stock anywhere nearby so I purchased from a website.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
