I own a high end HD TV and love"d" it. I'm amazed at the difference in picture quality. It's comparable to buying High Def for the first time.

This TV is great ..i have been Using Sony TV's all my life .. but this one is the best. the incorporated online services makes it better than a separate TV and set top box box.
The picture is fantastic.. Set up is fairly easy, and a lot is intuative if not automatic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

High expectation, low satisfaction

I'll mention only cons here: - slow response on APPS and surfing thru settings etc - Useless Internet browser - cannot update Adobe Flash, cannot install video streaming plug-ins - cannot mirror smart phones except SONY phones - cannot mirror a laptop unless is miracast compatible (Windows8) - wi-fi unstable Its just not worth from SMART TV perspective when the cheapest blu-ray player can do much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just bought this TV and needless to say it was expensive. I expected a quality product from Sony but instead I find a TV riddled with features that don't work. For example the Social Viewing feature doesn't work. You can't login into Twitter and this is acknowledged as a bug but there isn't a fix. The facebook app also doesn't seem to work correctly; login is hit or miss. The TV sideview facebook feature is also not working; when you login you get a Server Error with no additional information. Now, most importantly, there is a lag between audio and video which you perceive as bad lip syncing. All in all a very expensive piece of equipment and very poor support from Sony. If you are going to spend this kind of money I recommend you get something else.

Awesome TV!! The best one I've ever bought! Highly recommend it to anyone. Ive always loved Sony. They make awesome products hands down. The best out there PERIOD!
