Great refrigerator

We purchased this refrigerator to match our existing GE Profile appliances and it matches perfectly. This size was selected to fit our cabinets and instillation was easy. We especially love the updated LED lights which makes everything brighter inside. The door shelves on the freezer are an improvement over our last GE refrigerator.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If items are not staying cool in fresh food section or frozen in freezer section then make sure refrigerator is 2/3 to 3/4 full of substance. Air cannot hold cold or maintain proper temperatures. Worse Refrigerator

I bought it about two years to replace a old GE profile refrigerator which has working well for more then 20 years, but this GE profile is terrible all plastic ware: door bin, vegetable bin, all crack fall apart within two years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never buy this item

Terrible design the ice cube fall out of Freezer each time you open the Freezer. The shelfs on the frig side are not locked in place and move around and they have bar that blocks the self before to put things in the are taller.
The Freezer has lot of wasted space and no room to put food. The house I bought has this unit and I will be replacing this terrible unit.
Never buy this terrible design!

Disappointing quality.

We’ve had this fridge for almost 5 years now, and have been unhappy several features for some time now. The spiral mechanism that dispenses the ice in the ice maker is made of plastic and that plastic cracked. Thank goodness we noticed when it dispensed several pieces of broken plastic. Now
we have an ice dispenser that works incredibly inefficiently since ice is not being pushed out correctly.
Also, this fridge can be so loud. The back panel of the freezer presses onto the fan. When the fan comes on there is an annoying hum.
Would definitely consider a different brand based on my experiences.

Bad Compressor

I have had this refrigerator for no more than 8 months. It came with the house when we moved into our new community. The inside if the refrigerator does not have adequate space. It is not large enough for a small family. It is better suited to hold stuff for one person, maybe two at the most. Not only is the inside of the refrigerator extremely small, the refrigerator stopped cooling within 4 months of moving in. We were told the compressor was busted so we had it replaced. Now it has happened again. Other members of our community with the same refrigerator have expressed the same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
