The refrigerator is sleek and I love the way the lights dim and brighten after opening. I don't understand the need for a temperature reading on the outside of the fridge. I wish this was a measurement display like in other models.

The reason I bought this counter depth fridge is for size, lighting and extra drawer in fridge. These items are important to me and only available on Profile series. Well worth the extra money.

Love the Slate!

My refrigerator went out and had to go looking for a new one on short order. Fell in love with the slate. I wanted a french door but my built in cabinet didn't allow for it and with the side by side (what I had before ). Fast ice feature is great, man its bright when you open the door, had zero issues with it thus far. A+

Had a 1996 GE Profile that lasted 20 years so when it needed to be replaced, I knew I would stay with the same model. Love the look and features.

Came with broken icemaker

As far as counter depth goes, this model is fairly roomy. It took a month to get the icemaker repaired after delivery only to find out that it only makes 7 cubes every 2 hours. Great looking and well lit.

Nice fridge

Had to buy a counter depth refrigerator.Not thrilled with amount of space but the unit seems like a solid performer,runs quiet & the slate finish looks great.

Nice slick look but much smaller

We were looking to replace our GE Profile after almost 15 years. We like many features about the new one and can see more of what is actually in the refrigerator with the placement of the shelves and shape of the door holders. But overall the refrigerator and freezer is much smaller with thicker sides... Maybe for efficiency. If we weren't empty nesters, we would have had to exchange for a larger space inside!

Excellent Replacement

I replaced a similar GE refrigerator with this model and I am quite happy. It took some getting used to because all the drawers and shelves are different but I think I've found a place for everything. My only pet peeve is that the water/ice cube dispenser cuts down on the space in the freezer.
