Good Refrigerator

We have had our new refrigerator for over a month. It is very nice as we have never had a new refrigerator. I read many of the reviews and I will say that we have not had any problems, but will agree with other reviews it is not the quietest refrigerator. It also has a very small ice maker and capacity. We had a total of 6 guests for dinner and we ran out of ice in the door. This was in a 3 hour period, so yes I will agree with other reviews ice maker does not produce alot of ice. We are a household of two people, so it fits our needs.

Do not Buy

It looks great and functions like a refrigerator should BUT it is the nosiest appliance we have ever owned. At times it is louder than my 20 year old dishwasher was- not kidding.
After numerous calls GE has sent techs out to replace fans and the compressor and still the noise continues. They refuse to exchange it saying "the reports from the technical department say it works correctly" - I never said it didn't keep the food cold or not make ice. They then said noise is something we have to deal with as it is working. When asked for options they told us to sell it and buy another one! Wish we could- the problem is we purchased all new GE slate kitchen appliances at the time we purchased this.

too early to tell but I love the shelves and how I can see thru them. Love the water/icemaker on the door. It sounds REAL QUIET!

Just bought this, October 28th 2015. It is wonderful and the best part of this is it is a slate so no finger prints. I love the shelves, much room inside. Best buy ever

Ordered on line and disappointed in performance. I can't believe I actually made a video of our refrigerator just to record the noise. It was a large investment and by far the most disappointing.
