Great fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator with freezer on the bottom is awesome! It makes ice quick, keeps items cold and has lots of capacity. However, the only negative thing which other reviewers mentioned is that it can be loud at times, when the compressor turns on and is running I can hear it from a room away.

Doors don’t close well

Good fridge but the freezer door doesn’t close properly causing problems like condensation and now ants. Also the fridge door has this problem at times.

Poorly designed bins will crack easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this model refrigerator for over 3 or 4 years now. Mechanically the freezer, fridge, and ice maker have worked flawlessly. Unfortunately, the plastic bins on the door started off with small hairline cracks awhile ago, and by the time they got so bad that they cracked all the way through, the warranty had expired. We just use the bins for typical fridge stuff, nothing out of the ordinary or extra heavy. All 3 of the large bins ended up cracking, and eventually wouldn't hold any weight. They obviously are made of inferior plastic, too thin, or have engineering flaws. The warranty has expired and replacement bins are expensive. Very very disappointing fir a GE priduct. We've owned past GE products that were 30 plus years old and never had this kind of defect.
