So far appliance is fine. Registration was difficult and the water filters are very expensive with no options because of "smart chip"
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help go over an additional option for your dispenser. Our models are able to be used with a bypass filter, which allows the dispenser to work without the need for a filter. You can get one sent out for free by contacting us at 1-800-432-2737.

Refrigerator is well designed in both the upper and lower(freezer) compartments. Ice maker in door is very convenient.

Barely bought on November 29, 2024, and it already says filter status Error, I unplugged it for 10 minutes and it still says filter status Error, what is the deal with this.

My wife and I love our new GE ENERGY STAR refrigerator. We especially love the fingerprint proof stainless steel design and the french doors. The lower drawer freezer is new to us and we enjoy it as well. I love the fact that I can go on-line to look up the owner's manual to learn about how to care for our new fridge and get good advice to keep our new fridge running well.
