Very poor appliance, very noisy. Compressor make a whistling sound when on make makes other disturbing noises. Sweating inside door and in storage shelf above freezer freezes. Little insulation and only a 1 year warranty on compressor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Great--Just What I needed

This just arrived but I'm really happy with this refrigerator. Contrary to some negative reviews, this refrigerator is absolutely silent. I don't even know it's on except when it's making ice and I hear the cubes dropping. It did make ice on the day after its arrival--just not the day of. I have no trouble reading the information on the exterior concerning water/ice, etc. My only complaint is that it's smaller than my old one (Kenmore Elite 31 cu ft) and doesn't have the high side holders that a bottle of wine can stand up in. That said, my former one's water system broke twice and now they don't make needed replacement parts so it's in the garage after only 3.5 years. Sturdy doors that actually close tight. Nice veg and fruit bins. Most important for my kitchen, it comes in a glossy white--just what I needed.
