I love the refrigerator but after two service calls the ice maker is still not working

So far so good! Only thing I wish was a little better was the strangeness of the door. You really have to double check the doors are always closed as it closes halfway

GE Appliance Repair wont even work on these units

Update from my previous review: The GE recommended local service centers, both refused to work on the unit. Stating that the replacement parts were no better and that they couldn't guarantee or warranty them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
