Great fridge, could use interior refinements

I do really like this refrigerator, don't get me wrong, I recommend. It works as expected and is reliable. I've had mine for a couple of years with no issues. Shelves are easily adjusted. Would love a pull-out shelf so I can more easily see and grab what's at the back.
A couple small negative details however:
The front edges of the shelves need to be rounded off a little more. I can't tell you how many times I've bumped into the bottom edge of the shelf above the shelf I'm going for and come away with a bloody scrape on the tops of my fingers. Going to look at that closely when I shop for my next fridge.
Water and ice in the door are wonderful (manual, not touch-free). It would be nice if the chute where the ice comes out was a little longer so you can overlap the edges of a glass around it. Would cut down on bits of ice (especially crushed) ending up on the floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fridge is pretty good. I like the ice in the door. It is a bit small so it doesn’t always keep up with our family of 4 but it’s better than losing space in the freezer and the door dispenser is a must for us. Freezer only goes from -6 to 6 degree which freezes ice cream a little harder than we’d like. Also the freezer drawer is very loud but I can’t be positive that we put it back in correctly. I paid for installation but the delivery guy was drunk and refused to install or even bring it in the house. So we had to do it all ourselves. Lots of room though and really easy to keep clean. I haven’t had issues yet other than the squeaky freezer drawer. I got it for a good deal so as long as it lasts it’s worth it.

Compressor dead after 18 months.

The compressor died after 18 months. I would not recommend this refrigerator. The feedback from GE was that we should have purchased extended warranty. We shouldn't need a warranty for a refrigerator that's less than 2 years old. Not good! Zero stars!
