GE French door stainless steel fridge

We Love our fridge!! It's very roomy and fits a lot. I love that I has the freezer in the bottom with sliding drawers. I also like my water and ice maker and dispencer. It's the perfect size. I also like that you can arrange the shelves to your desire.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door drips below water dispenser. GE repair person made repair however still has same problem.

GE then & now

The GE name has been a well respected, trusted name for many years, selling quality products. This is not the case anymore. The product we purchased should not even be on the market. It is loud. When the compressor is running it puts out 89 decibels. The ice maker shoots ice in all directions. The water dispenser leaks. The doors do not close properly. Our purchase was a huge mistake.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What you are hearing is the new high efficiency compressor that will run faster and longer. You could also hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating.
