Looks nice but not working 8 months after purchase

Was great until we noticed it’s not working and makes a loud buzzing noise

Good frig, hate shelves.

The refrigerator is great. Everything works fine. The ice is bigger than I like but I’ll just used “crushed” more. The BIG complaint is the shelves. The one shelf that pushes back for taller items is useless. I have too many tall items for this to work. If you have wine bottles, milk containers, etc forget it! I ended up just taking it out altogether. However, this left me with one less shelf. :-( Also, the way they are supported seems a bit flimsy. I can wiggle the unsupported corner quite easily. I probably would have gotten a different refrigerator but this one was the first available after my previous frig quit unexpectedly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All the bells and whistles we'll ever need

This unit replaces another brand that was in service for 17 years with similar features. With the indoor water and ice, large cu.ft. capacity and super clean interior we were anxious to plug it in. While beautiful inside and out, we found this unit to make noises when least expected; after the ice maker services any ice, when cooling down, or defrosting, it snaps, crackles and pops at an almost continuous rate. And sometimes, it's just not a little noise in the background, but, "what the heck was that?"

Great Product with Minor Flaws

THe refrigerator is a nice size, pleasant to look at, keeps food at a great temperature and makes great ice cubes. Ice-maker stops making ice when bin is full. THAT'S a great feature. Freezer is great too. ONLY drawbacks are: (1) Too loud when running. (2) Off switch for ice maker is cheap plastic and broke the first time I used it. So, can no longer shut off ice-maker. Good thing is the ice-maker stops producing ice when the bin is full - but still can't turn it off completely when on vacation.
I would recommend this to a friend!
