Beautiful fridge

Beautiful looking fridge. Keeps things cold or frozen. Not a fan of only being able to adjust shelves with only a few options. But made it work and do like the slide in shelf to add tall items.

Excellent Refrigerator So Far

Great refrigerator from an excellent dealer, Hawkins & Sons in Wilmington, Delaware. I love the fingerprint-resistant finish and super bright LED lighting. The ice maker is much quieter than my previous frig, but my only complaint would be that the shelves seem a bit wobbly and are not as easily configured as I would like.

We really like the refrigertor plenty of space, there are a couple of issues I have. There is a smell that affects the taste of the water and ice. We were told that it was probably in a warehouse for some time. We have had this refrigerator for a month and the only solution we have received is put a box of baking soda in the refrigerator, since the refrigerator is working there is nothing GE says they can do. It would have also been nice to have all the labels on the control panel illuminated.

We do taste and odor testing on our refrigerators and freezers. Your refrigerator does not contain any mechanical parts that will produce an odor or cause a bad taste in your food or ice cubes. Food can transfer odors and tastes to ice. Even food in the refrigerator compartment can transfer an odor or taste to the freezer which can cause bad tasting ice.
There are four (4) conditions that can cause a bad odor or taste in your ice:
1.) Open food containers or spilled foods in the refrigerator or freezer compartment.
2.) Low ice usage. Old or stale ice will absorb food odors.
3.) Bad water supply. Sulfur, algae, minerals, salt, etcetera, in the water supply can cause bad tasting water which results in bad tasting ice.
4.) Old water filter. If you have a water filtration system, the filter should be replaced every 6 months or as recommended by the manufacturer.
If none of this works, service may be needed. Please take full advantage of your warranty and schedule a service appointment with our technicians to fix this for you. Beautiful but noisy

I just got this refrigerator and it is a very beautiful refrigerator. However, it’s a little noisy for a brand new refrigerator. Not sure I like how it sounds because it makes me worry something is wrong. Also, if you put a small glass in the water dispenser area you have to be careful that water actually goes in the glass. The way the water dispenser is angled is more for regular size glasses than smaller glasses. Very small in door ice dispenser also. Since it saves room inside your refrigerator, it doesn’t allow for a very big ice bucket in the door. I believe you can purchase a separate ice maker for the bottom freezer but I hadn’t planned on needing that since I already spent so much on the refrigerator.

I love this refrigerator, spacious inside and the freezer on the bottom is a good idea easy to organize. The fact that fingerprints do not stick is a supper bonus for mom like me.
