I like this refrigerator. It’s a good size and holds the groceries I need. I did not give it 5 stars because I feel this refrigerator is a little noisy
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid appliance

First GE fridge after owning all other major brands. It’s solid, built well and has room for everything. Only gripe is that the front panel is so dim that it’s near impossible to see what you’re doing even with the lights on in the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had an Kenmore which lasted me 21 years. The compressor is bad. I hope this one last at least that long. I got the French door stainless steel model with the water in the door. We just had it installed today 10/8/2022.

Almost perfect

Spacious refrigerator whose best feature is not having to bend down to get things as in a side by side. Its quiet and has the optional turbo chill feature. The ice maker is noisy only when its dispensing ice but the outer collection area could have been made a bit roomier. The right fridge door tends to slam shut before you realize it so careful when you're closing. And only th ehandles are fingerprint resistant, not the fridge body.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The freezer compartment frosts over and the door is impossible to open without using two hands and your head to keep the fridge from moving away from the wall
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Response from geappliances.comBy Shayla@GEAGE_appliancesOctober 14, 2022
Hello - Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're glad you enjoy the appearance of this model. However, we're sorry to hear that the freezer has frost, you have to open the door with two hands, and the fridge wobbles. We understand how aggravating that must be, and we apologize for the troubles this causes. We strive to provide the best ownership experience possible and would love to help you.

Regarding the wobbling fridge, we recommend leveling your refrigerator. The refrigerator should be firmly positioned on an even floor. You may learn how to do so on page 38 of your owner's manual here: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-1000472-5.pdf&_ga & this helpful article here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19144&_ga.

If frost is appearing in the freezer, ensure the door is properly closed. You may view troubleshooting tips here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=19286&_ga.

The freezer will be hard to open if frost is present between the door. If frost is not present, this means that the strong vacuum seal of the gasket makes the doors hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. We recommend rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly along the edges of the entire gasket. Paraffin wax is used for canning and is safe for use around food.

If the above suggestions do not resolve the issue, service will be needed. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or online here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.

We hope this helps! Please contact us if you need anything. We hope you have a good day. -Shayla@GEA
