Noisy appliance lower drawer for vegetables requires both doors to open, user manual provides little useful information..I had to go to you tube to get any useful information and it wasn’t even a ge video.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you suspect the refrigerator is making noises that would not be considered normal, you can reach out service department by calling 1-800-432-2737 to set up an appointment. You can find normal operating sounds here: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901
The interior drawers can be accessed and fully opened with the door(s) at 90 degrees; however, they will be prevented from being removed. You need 17" on each obstructed side to fully open the doors. The clearances are measured from the side of the refrigerator.

The ice machine broke within 48 hrs of using. The place where you get water has nothing to hold water that has overflowed a cup so when you open that door the excess water flies onto the floor. The right door opened very quickly but closed so slowly you often had to push the door twice. Loved the color of black slate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When installing this refrigerator, please know you must turn the ice maker on by flipping its switch. If the ice maker still did not work, it's possible the filter was installed incorrectly, among other reasons. We offer troubleshooting tips on page 44 of the owner's manual.
Please know we have a limited one-year warranty on our appliances. A certified GE Appliances technician can also come to your home to diagnose and repair your unit in no time. However, we understand you returned your fridge. For reference, you may view warranty information on page 47 of the owner's manual.
This model also comes with a drip tray that you can pull out to dump any water that may have fallen inside.

Plenty of room. Love that the ice maker is in the door so it isn't wasted inside space. It's super quiet and gorgeous. Only con is the drawer inside the freezer opens with the freezer every time instead of pulling it out after so I always have to push it in to get in the main freezer. The shelves are great and the quick shelf height change is a cool feature.

GREAT STORAGE

Installed today and is cooling down very rapidly. Already have it loaded and very pleased with space available. Ice maker in door frees up so much space on the top shelves a feature worth having. Overall appearance is very classy looking and non-fingerprint SS is great. So far very quiet but will wait for that attribute until it starts making ice. Being able to move shelves to suit my way of storing items has been good. When reloading the doors I realized I have way too many condiments. Will have to use or get rid of them! So far very pleased with product and company purchased from.
I would recommend this to a friend!
