Plenty of room

Sturdy shelves and room to organize and place fridge/freezer items. Unhappy with how narrow the shelving in door is on left side of fridge. The water dispenser/ice cube tray needs an overflow tray and to be wider. Ice cubes are often dispensed and fall to the floor instead of into.the cup.

Very Loud Compressor and fans

Do not buy this model. The compressor is extremely loud when it starts up and very noisy while running. Also the fans are extremely loud. You can hear the compressor and fans running over the tv sound in the next room. I have had GE out twice and they claim it is normal with the new high efficiency models. In addition to being loud the ice in the door constantly freezes into clumps and will not dispense. This will be the last GE product I ever purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the in door ice maker
