Ice maker sucks!

Love the new refrigerator and everything about it except for the ice machine. Ice machine is too small for 3 people. It either needs to hold more ice or make ice faster. It is empty everyday before dinner time and I’m at work until 3:30. That means only 2 people are here during the day. Worst ice machine ever!

Makes a lot of noise!

The loudest refrigerator we have ever owned. Gunts, groans, and whirls are loud and constant. We have an open concept house and just replaced a 10-year old GE with this newer model. I wish I had the old unit back. Not recommended for an open concept layout. Also the design is just average. The adjustable shelf which adjusts to half-depth was not useful. We removed it because it was more in the way than helpful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If it helps, you may also like to know hard surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl or hard wood floors, walls and kitchen cabinets may make these operating sounds more noticeable. As a result, certain sounds may be unfamiliar on a new refrigerator at first. These sounds are normal and are usually an indication that the refrigerator is operating properly.
