Beautiful, but some features annoying

I love the looks of this frig, but the french doors have issues. One, you can’t open the drawers unless you open both doors. Also the doors do not close smoothly. The right door actually bounces back when you nudge the door closed as you walk away. So annoying. The left door also does this, but it is not as hard to close. I wish there was a “fix” for the right door bouncing open as you walk away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for taking the time to rate this refrigerator. We do apologize for the inconveniences you are dealing with and understand how annoying they can be. It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. This means there is a good door seal. The compartments are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Closing a door shut forces air from one compartment into the other, which can push the other door open. This is normal if the door closes again on its own. It is not normal if the door stays open. Let us know if you have any questions. Mike@GEA

Rumbling & freezer drawer doesn’t move smoothly

Rumbling cycling sounds from lower compartment & freezer drawer doesn’t move smoothly. I tried lubricating with paraffin per instructions but only limited improvement.

Enjoy the refrigerator, unfortunately been having trouble with water/ice cubes after 1 year. The refrigerator cost alone should show quality product. I should not have to repair in short order.

Like the bottom freezer

It is so much easier to organize than my previous side by side refrigerator-freezer. And it holds so much more. I also like the ice maker built into the door rather than taking up a big chunk of space in the refrigerator or freezer.

Freezer handle keeps falling off

Even after mounting bracket replacement, the bottom freezer handle still falling off. We have to be very careful opening the bottom freezer drawer. We afraid that soon the handle mounting bracket will be broken and we will end up with either big expenses, a new fridge or live without the freezer.
