Quiet , good features for the size. Quality finish

I've only owned it 5 months, so withholding final judgement, as my previous Kenmore which was nearly identical had the compressor fail after 1 year. Very expensive to fix, like 1200.00
so I junked it , bought this one.
My only complaint so far is the the bottom drawer freezer handle is a "slip on" bracket. If you grab it from a left angle to open the drawer, the handle becomes disengaged , comes off,and you off,have to slip it back on.

GOOD FEATURES

Over all the product has good features. It looks very nice. The stainless steel exterior prevents fingerprints from showing. Keeps items very cold if doors are not opened frequently. However, there are a number of issues that as I use the GE 3 door French Door refrigerator Model GFE26JYMWFFS could be improved. Having to open both doors to access the left side is not good. Mainly, its inefficient and clumsy to quickly access an item, lets too much cold out, starts beeping too quickly to remind you to close the doors, which is annoying. The shelving is somewhat flimsy and has limited configuration. In fact, one has to eliminate a shelf or have it too close to another to accommodate many of products bottles, tubs, storage containers etc. that are in frequent use. Again making it necessary to open both doors frequently to get difference items.The left side storage on the inside of the doors is not an efficient use space and they are too deep but not tall for many food containers. On the right side, the configuration is fixed and are smaller and shorter than many common food packaging. Also, at 36 inches deep it sticks out well beyond the average 24" counter depth. It remains to be seen however overall efficient and practical this will product for the long run.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s an okay fridge, with a few things I don’t like. The ice maker and water are a bit noisy when you use it, a lot of clicking and machinery noises that I don’t care for. Also, when you pull the freezer door open, it’s a bit stiff, not easy pulling like our old Samsung. Same with pushing it shut, it doesn’t close, slide back easily either….it annoys me. If these features were better, I’d like it a lot more.

I really like this refrigerator, it has a lot more space than the others I have purchased. It keeps my food at the desired temp. My wish is that is was a little quieter and had a bigger ice container.

Great Features-Love Bottom Freezer Drawer!

The refrigerator offers a lot of storage space. The doors are a little confusing when closing and MUST be level. Have had a few issues with freezer not staying cold enough. May have been proper closing of the door/drawer areas,

I love everything about the fridge except 2 things: the words on the ice/water dispenser are hard to read, & the ice maker doesn't hold much ice. I've created an external "holding tank" so that I can have more ready to go.
