Probably my only complaint of it not being a 5 star is that you have to stand and hold the lever to get ice and water where as our last fridge had programmable settings for a 8, 16, 24 oz glass! The ice machine is tucked in door providing more fridge space so that is nice.

I really like the ice maker in the door and not taking up space in the fridge. I would like a little more flexibility in the shelves, such as which goes where, and a little more adjustment in the shelves on the opposite door, but those are minor issues.

I was a skeptic about French Door Refrigerators!

I was a skeptic about French Door refrigerators after having Side by Side for more than 25 years. I have to say I Iove the openness and space in the refrigerator section. Not to mention the bright LED lights, it's like your food is on display. The freezer is nice too, I can see everything, no more stuff hiding in the back. I would also never be without ice & water through the door and I am loving this setup, no more holding the glass you can set it right on the dispenser plate and fill.

First fridge in 26 years!

After 26 years with a great refrigerator it was time for a new one. Love GE products, have had success with them in the past. This new refrigerator is spacious, has many of the features I was looking for. It is a bit loud, has a lot of sudden noises. I also do not like how many ice cubes drop from one push; way more than needed. Wish I could control that. Overall a good product.
