Nice features

The fridge performs well however the bottom short small shelf on the door (without water, ice, etc.) would be more useful if the shelves were transfigured to allow more products to fit. Also the top shelf in the fridge itself does not allow for tall containers of juice, tea, etc. with the exception of a very small area. However we love the freezer which is much more convenient than our former side by side.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful compartments

Love all the room it has inside! 3 shelves and then 2 binds for cheese and butter and the other is for fruits and vegetables!

This refrigerator and freezer have so much space in them. When they designed it, they though it our very well!!! Way to go GE!

Love the in the door ice maker.
Would like it to have a little larger capacity for the ice maker.
Nice big freezer with two large drawers that can be divided how you choose.
Nice shelving system in main part of fridge.
Door shelves could be sturdier. We already have one that cracked.
Would like it to have a little larger capacity for the ice maker.

Handles need work

Freezer handle broke already just 3 months after purchase. Flimsy plastic tab that the handle is attached to snapped. Stupid design. Otherwise, so far so good.

affordable and good setting

We bought this fridge to replace our regularly breaking down LG refrigerator.
We are pretty satisfied with it so far, it keeps temperatures perfectly and suits our needs satisfactorily.
The only drawback is that the drawers and shelves are a little flimsy compared to what we had. If this thing runs reliably then we can live with that. Also the water could be a little higher and squirted out closer to the pad you have to push, it would make refilling a water bottle not so messy.
