Here is information about noises to expect with your new refrigerator. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901 -- The compressor will stop operating but you may hear a fan running to keep the air inside moving. Make sure the refrigerator is 2/3 to 3/4 full of substance as air cannot hold cold as food can. We hope this information is helpful. Geoff@GEA

Ice maker is garbage

Had the fridge a week and already need to call about the icemaker. There is also nothing to catch the water or anything underneath your cup is a flat solid removable piece. Disappointed with how expensive the refrigerator was

Big Fridge!!

I love the GE Refrigerator and freezer drawer. I have plenty of room for all my items and still have room for extra things. I fix kool-aid all the time, but I couldn't gt my big jug in it except in one place, which is not good. But it'll do.

I'VE ALWAYS PREFERRED GE BUT I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS GE PRODUCT. I'VE HAD THIS FOR LESS THAN TWO YEARS. IT HAS MADE NOISES SINCE DELIVERED AND NOW IS FREEZING THINGS IN THE FRIG AND THE BOTTOM FREEZER IS THAWING.

Cheap parts

Some of the drawers in fridge part seem cheap and flimsy (compared to GE it replaced). Freezer door and drawers also seem flimsy and cheaply made. Overall does not feel as good and/or sturdy as one it replaced.
