Love the color, that’s why we purchased all our appliances 7 years ago. So, when our frig died, we bought another one to match. The shelf placement choices are limited in the new frig, were the old one had many shelf placement choices. Also, with the indoor ice/water, I lost three door shelves, but you no longer had the ice only in the freezer in the size of frig we needed. J

I love my fridge for the most part. The only negative is not a lot of room for gallon teas, we have 2 tea jugs, milk, and koolaide and there’s no room but for 2 gallon jugs on shelf, milk goes in door which takes away from condiments. We make do but that’s all I’d change about this fridge..... more room for tall tea containers.

Poor Ice Maker

Ice maker pushes out black ice and is therefore not usable

Black particles in ice can be an indicator of mold which would mean you need a new ice maker. For the best help, we recommend scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. Love our new fridge. Everything is easy accessible. Plenty of space to keep stuff nice and organized. Not a huge fridge but perfect size for a family of 4

Great new fridge!

Loving my new fridge! But after having my old one for nearly 30 years, this is such a big change! Finally have water and ice in the door! Love the huge freezer compartment! Also the Slate color is beautiful! Just one con...seems to always be making some kind of noise!
