Awesome new addition

I love this refrigerator. It’s big. The freezer is deep. It looks amazing and although I wasn’t completely sold on the color I absolutely love that I took a chance.

Can’t see the panel to make a selection!

Can’t see the panel selection and the ice dispenser has a tendency to send ice to a cup and the surrounding area!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We find when dispensing ice into glass to hold the glass up close to the chute where the ice falls from. When getting crushed ice, some ice chips may "spit" out onto the floor. This is a normal part of the crushing process. Holding the glass as close to the top of the dispenser as possible will help keep the ice from "spitting" out. there is an indicator light above either WATER< CUBED or crushed when you select one of them. It might be hard to see in your kitchen due to the lighting in your kitchen. We hope this helps and thank for supporting GE Appliances. Stay safe. Geoff@GEA

Had some trouble with the crushed ice feature. It jammed up and we got and upside down (F11) error message. GE Appliance guy came out to take a look and couldn't determine the problem. Hope it doesn't happen again. Other than that - we love it so far.

Nice fridge

Well I’d like to say after a month or so that I’m loving it, but that wouldn’t be quite true. It’s nice, it’s big it’s pretty.
I’m coming from 30 + years of side by side so I guess I’m still adjusting but the doors open but you have to fully push closed or the right hand side flings itself back to the fully open position jarring whatever is on the door. The left side closes okay but has the ice maker on that door, no problem but it’s not a lot of ice and Theresa shelf that attaches that can’t hold a 12 oz bottle it’s too darn narrow, useless is what it seems to be.
The bottom drawer is not split so to pull it open,even a little, you have to open both doors. This is where you’d put deli and or a few bottles on their side. Drawer is also shallow so no stacking. Crisper drawers above are split and accessible with 1 door closed.
Display on outer door has silver? Print on stainless background, please light it up or use a greater contrast print that an be easily seen.
That’s my gripes. It works great, I like the roominess

French door refrigerator freezer

Love the design and quality. Freezer is acceptable and the double door refrigerator allows me to put larger items in where my old side by side did not.
