Great features on this fridge but there are a couple of things that drive me nuts. First, if you don’t close the doors all the way, they fly fully open. Second, the handle on the freezer has fallen off a couple of times and I had to look up how to fix it online. Otherwise this thing holds a lot of food in both the refer and freezer sections. Oh, the press bar for the in door water feature is easily scratched, which is a shame for an otherwise beautiful product.

We do have some recommendations that may be of use to you! To help with the doors that keep on flying open, please make sure that your fridge is leveled. The front of the refrigerator should be 1/4 inch higher than the rear. As for the handle, it may not have been completely locked into place. In order to fix this (if you haven't already) slide the handle to the right until you hear a click. Thank you for the feedback! If you have any questions we are here to help.

Compressor makes horrible grunting noise!

I like G E products, I have a stove and microwave, but the new French door refrigerator that I just bought has a horrible noise coming from the compressor. Would not recommend!

Good solid product

All features met expectations and working as advertised. One flaw is that the touch pad in the left door does not illuminate the descriptive words over the buttons. Accordingly, you cannot see the title of the buttons unless you bend down and get very close to the pad.

So far so good

Newly bought.. so far so good.. Roomy refrigerator space with adjustable panels.. Love the alarm if left open.. There’s a humming sound that seems to go on forever but then cuts off and is quiet for a while. Overall nice fridge.. we’ll see.

Disappointed!!

I feel I have downgraded with this unit. Outside control panel is not lit up at night.
Difficult to read. Main drawer in refrigerator does not slide easily. In my previous unit
this drawer was on wheels and opened and closed easily.
