This unit replaced an LG model that died way too soon. This GE is more spacious and better configured. We are pleased with the purchase and hope it’s more durable than its predecessor

We love this refrigerator. Easy to see what’s on the shelves . Freezer is great. The ice flies out of the dispenser but by holding glass close to opening it’s no problem. Adjustable shelves a real plus.

Can we talk about the freezer door? GE designers put plastic-on-plastic sliders instead of wheels, because cheaper and easier to build. So every time you open the door, it sounds like a casket from a 1970's horror film. It's loud, creaky, and you can't fix it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall the Fridge is working great! but, the freezer door handle keeps sliding off, I've had to slide the handle back in place three times already. Not sure what's causing it to come off, could be the locking clips on back is not working the way it should.

I love all of the features of this fridge. My only complaint is that there is one last notch with the doors; that if you don’t press hard enough, the door doesn’t get past the notch and remains open.

This fridge is so much more roomy than my old 12 year old one. It is well lit also. The ice and water dispenser has cubed and crushed ice. It is not top of the line, but well worth the price I paid. My only con is how loud it is when it comes on. It’s not terribly loud, but louder than my old one.

I am very happy with my new fridge. Only issue I have with this unit is that it has a hard time keeping up with our ice needs...wish it had a higher capacity for ice storage.
