Big opening in the fridge...lots of room for platters and big bowls. Fruit and veggie drawers are nice and deep. Lots of door storage. Freezer on bottom has lots of room. Ice maker and water dispenser work nicely.

Overall a great refrigerator

Overall, we love this refrigerator. The only thing we don't like very well is that the long drawer doesn't always slide easily. You have to hold it just right to make it work.

Looks Great - But Deffective

PROS: Looks great... Very spacious... Lots of convenient compartments...
CONS: Does not last or hold up well... Fan broke in first month and had to be replaced (GE knew they sold with defective fans)... Motherboard broke and had to be replaced...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After our original GE Profile fridge (purchased 7/2002) died, we replaced it with this Fridge. We like the freezer on the bottom. Our original fridge had better distances between door shelves. My only other comment is that when sitting quietly, the new fridge makes some of the same sounds as the original only more quiet. It sticks out in the room more but you can walk between the open door and island.
