The refrigerator is a little loud when it runs. The water dispenser drips after use and the door doesn’t stay open and swings back to shut if you don’t hold it open. Inside lights are nice and the freezer drawer opens every time you open the freezer
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge does a good job of keeping things cold and not freezing things in corners. Seems to hold a lot but it’s hard to organize. Also, the motor is loud and the freezer drawer is really loud. No sneaking ice cream here.

Compared with my old ge side by side, this unit has a much better access layout. That said, the drawer materials are much flimsier and their workings less smooth than the older unit. I do not expect to get the ten years of trouble free operation that I got from the old one

Only 1 ice maker that doesn't produce alot...no option to add a second one either. The ice maker is in the refrigerator door, making the shelves basically useless because they are so small. The other door does have big shelves and will hold a gallon of milk and a few other taller items. Shelves inside...cant stand up a bottle of beer...if there were other options available in this price range, I would not have purchased this, but since covid the factories are not putting out as many and we needed one ASAP. If I had another grand to spend, I def would have gotten something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The interior is so much brighter than my previous GE French door unit that I smile every time I open it. It’s easy to clean and spacious!
