The fan that cools the in door ice container, makes a sound like a leaveblower reving up and up and down. Have had the fridge for 2 months now and other than that no complaints. Now that the holidays are over will call a serviceman to come check and make sure that the fan motor is operating correctly

The fridge is so noisy and the ice machine is clogged and not working properly after owning it for less than a month. I’ll have to call for troubleshooting and possibly service already. We not NOT recommend this appliance.

Noisy refrigerator

The refrigerator is so noisy that it sounds like an air compressor running in our kitchen. People ask us what is making the noise.

French door black slate refrigerator

I have had 5 refrigerators of this model delivered and had to be returned because they are defective. All 5 have had issue of left side if refrigerator having a defective bowed and loose side.
Some have been very loud when running because of poor product work when putting together. (Issue with freezer defrost area and something touching compressor. We also had issue with improper air movement in freeezer causing ice cream to melt.
G E will not allow us to trade out for different model.

Could be better

Choose the best I could do in my price range that was available in my area. Large plastic drawer at bottom for meats, cheeses, slides awkwardly and I am afraid it will last. In door ice maker is small, but this style was recommended over the type that is in the box, due to repair issues. Shelves do not adjust as much as I would like. Somewhat limited. Freezer drawer is smaller than that of my previous fridge, which was the same size. Door panel is difficult to read. A bit noisy, although rated to be not too noisy. Saw comments from some reviewers indicating that it is noisy, but had to make some assessments and consider the price range and availability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely the nicest refrigerator I've ever owned. More room than I need and always has ice and cold water in the door ready. Also the inside lighting is phenomenal. Love my fridge.
