Had a 2 year old GE Profile Fridge...which they found un-repairable. Sounds pretty bad...except that when GE couldn't repair it (internal wiring issue), they actually replaced the entire unit for. no-charge. For that - I'm totally appreciative that they didn't leave me out a few thousand dollars. Fortunately mine was under warranty. (Might recommend extended warranty though)

Love this refrigerator

So far we are very happy with the GE profile side by side fridge. I paid a lot for my previous Jenn Air model and it was constantly broken. The Jenn Air ice maker never made ice since we purchased. This GE refrigerator makes so much ice. It’s so quiet too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor in-door design.

Ice crusher often spits out large chunks and hole cubes. Tray under water dispenser is poorly designed and too shallow to keep more than few drops of water, the rest hits the floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once we learned our way around the 'fridge, we're really quite pleased with it. There are a couple of minor quibbles, (like not being able to get my tall water bottle under the ice dispenser), but all-in-all it serves our needs quote nicely.
I would recommend this to a friend!
