Small capacity

This refrigerator is for someone that is beginning life not for a large family

Excellent counter depth refrigerator

Have had this refrigerator for about 3 months now. It is well designed and have not had any issues at all with temperature control, ice maker, water, etc. Highly recommend this product.

Not a quiet fridge

The fridge and ice maker function fine. The LED lighting is really nice. Not really fond of the shelves - they take up more room than on our 20+ y/o GE fridge that this one replaces.
My main complaint is about the noise. Not the occasional defrost or iceman noise, it's the constant gurgling/spurting sound when the refrigerator is running. It sounds like refrigerant squirting through the lines inside and maybe there's not enough insulation around them. We called for a repairman to evaluate and he said it's normal, and is, in fact, the refrigerant going through the lines. The sound is coming from about 5 ft up,near the back of the fridge. I'm considering taping some foam to the back to see if that makes it less obnoxious. We can hear this sound in the other room, 20 ft away.

Good size and works well for my household of 2 people. I like the extra freezer space, compared to a top freezer design.

21.9 cu ft GE Profile Counter Depth, very roomy

My wife and I looked at many different brands of Counter Depth refrigerators to replace a 5 year old competitors brand that failed, we liked the layout of this GE Profile model, it’s very roomy. We also like the quality & durability of GE products.

Simple and not high tech refrigerator. I love the idea of a door alarm that you can turn on or off. I love it because I frequently go in and forget to close it sometimes when I’m cooking and taking things out and putting things in. Easy to install water filter too!
