Wait and see

Within a month we've had 2 service calls for door misalignment. No leveling adjustment on the rear casters. Interior space has restrictions. An additional door compartment should be provided. Wire baskets on freezer door are very small. Ice maker works well. Controls are easy to use. Interior lighting is very effective. Unit is very quiet.

This refrigerator looks nice. Wish it was more fingerprint resistant. Also wish it was larger, but that is our fault. It works well. The ice maker is a little loud. Though it is quieter than our old Fridge. Freezer does have more space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Monogram don’t make the size that I wanted went with Profile line good but not same quality. Great product over all better than most competitors.

Worst fridge ever!

I’ve had nothing but problems with this fridge. The water dispenser just leaks on its own. Had GE look at it multiple and replaced parts several times to tell me well we can’t do anything about it except have our repair guys look at it again and follow what the engineers tell them to do.
Finally had it replaced only to get another bad fridge that makes constant high pitched noise that makes it difficult to sit down and relax in the open floor plan. I wish I could get rid of this fridge.
I did not pick it. It came with the house. I will not recommend a GE fridge to anyone!

I bought it Again

I had an older model of this refrigerator which lasted 12 years. I liked it and felt I got my money's worth, so I bought the current model. GE made some improvements that I think made this a better refrigerator than the previous model. Specifically, they improved the ice maker, added glass shelves and plastic bins to the freezer, removed the soda can storage rack and added LED lighting to the refrigerator. I opted for the fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish and it does an excellent job of not showing the finger prints. That said, it doesn't match the SS finish on my other GE Profile appliances.
It would have been nice to have some more lighting in the refrigerator especially towards the back, as it seems a little dark since the LED lights are more situated in the front, but that's a minor inconvenience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The refrigerator is okay. However there is no way to set the water temperature to cold without freezing the food inside the fridge. The freezer side of the door is too skinny that I have to buy minimum grocery’s just to make sure that my door of the freezer closes properly. The fridge side is also very narrow that I cannot even put fruits inside of it. Honestly we are a family of 4. I have two kids and they eat. My family comes by the house every weekend and I have to keenrunning to the store for something to cook for them because the fridge is too small. My kids love to eat fruits and there is not enough room for fruits. I don’t have room for left overs to go inside the fridge and than my husband likes to eat different varieties of meat and he likes to keep them on hand but than again there is not enough room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
