This is the third GE side by side counter deep refrigerator I've had. All basically the same model. I only bought it because it fits the space. The other two (2) didn't last more than 7 years each. This will be the last one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good.

It's only been two weeks but so far so good. Ice and water through the door are laid out well as are the shelves. The freezer side, when it's active, is louder than any of our previous fridges (none GE) and can be heard from the adjacent rooms. Distracting but not annoying.

Took months (COVID delays) but very happy with the size, appearance, features too. It's quiet and beautiful. Now my Profile Suite is complete!

Product delivered was not the finish I ordered. Much confusion at GE between what is available in SS and fingerprint resistant SS. Very poor design for access to ice from inside the unit. Width of shelf support rails and "drip-proof" edging on shelf glass takes up a lot of room

Nice counter-depth refrigerator
