This is the 2nd Profile refrigerator we have purchased. The old on is in the garage as our back up and has been going strong for 14 years. The new one looks really good but is very noisy when it runs. The old one doesn't make half as much noise as this one. On the plus side it works really well. I think next time we might upgrade to the Cafe lineup.

improved new features over our older GE Profile

Only one day old but the new features are great. I see changes in some of the draws both fresh and freezer, has more tempiture control for both sides, ice maker very quick on cube production, a metal cover plate in rear of fridge vs the older cardboard one, door alarm works well to alert you, quietness is the same which is good, and it still blends with our older GE Profile stove / microwave / and dishwasher. Note several of the older draws fit into the newer GE Profile - if more shelves are needed.

We like the fridge but it seems quite small on the inside compared to similar products of size on the outside.

I bought it 4 months ago and overall I'm pleased. The ice and water dispenser is a bit of a problem- shoots out ice fast and doesn't stop when I stop.
