poor reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] while this hood looks nice, it is underpowered for the price, and I would look elsewhere for reliabilty - the speed control failed at 1.5 years in, just out of warranty. Considering the premium that comes with the Bosch name, you would expect either higher reliability or a longer warranty period.

Quiet and effective exhaust hood

Disappointed in light

I purchased this hood for my new kitchen. While the ventilation is great, the fluorescent light doesn't give off enough light. I still like the hood, but make sure you see this fan installed and can check out the light before you purchase it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
