The original West Bend Triple Timer was a simple jewel. This “updated” one, is far too complex to set, clear or run. It doesn’t even sit flat on the counter.
Bought (2) as a replacement for the same timer that was dropped and broke the clip. The new ones are both not nearly as loud as the old one. If you are not close to it, you can easily miss the timer going off.
As a medical technologist, I've used West Bend timers for years. I find having multiple timers invaluable. This one, however, has a clock, in addition to the timers, which will be useful in the home setting. I couldn't run my kitchen without this timer.
It works well, but not of the quality as my old one. Buttons do not work easily. Took me a while to figure out that if I pressed down on the button, it would continue to add time.
I use this as an alarm clock, and also love that I can put something in the oven, a liquid in the freezer and something on the stove and have the timer take care of the worries.
