Lacks important featres!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used our new Bosch refridgerator for a year and half now.
CONS:
1. DOES NOT HAVE an auto dispenser bar for water, ice etc. You MUST push and hold a buttom which is very touchy and difficult to find the 'sweet spot' where it works. I have never seen a ice dispenser where there is not an arm to push for dispensing. THIS IS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM with this refridgerater! Picture attached.
2. Makes ice cubes very slow
3. Ice maker takes up more room inside the fridge compared to our last frindge with ice maker (and the old one had the auto dispense push bar...)
4. The doors used to close easily, automaticaly and smoothly, now we must push until they engage shut and seal together.
5. Major finger prints, requires cleaning couple times a day.
PRO:
1. Holds alot with lots of shelf optioning.
2. Has an alarm if doors are not closed completelty, which happens often.

Bosh is best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about 2 months ago and are really enjoying the refrigerator. Pros: very quiet!!!!, doors have more storage than other models and freezer space is larger than expected. Cons: open door alarm goes off after a few seconds of being open and the ice/water dispenser has to be ‘woken up’ before it will work - instead of just working right away, you have to push it to wake it up - then again to dispense ice/water. Solid quality and not so much plastic as others on the market. Lighting is bright and outside is very easy to clean. Overall a great purchase!

After one month - yay!

We also like that changing the settings is easily accomplished, and enjoy the alarm feature to ensure no one leaves the doors open!

Last Bosch Product I will ever own!

I build a new house 5 years ago and bought all new bosch appliances based on past performance. The Bosch dishwasher died last year is it was cheaper to purchase a new dishwasher than to repair the Bosch (I did not buy Bosch). Now the refrigator is showing signs of impending replacement. We have had a continual problems with the freezer door and french door alignment since it was purchased new. We have no kids, only two people use refrigator, and we both work. Under warrenty, we had the doors adjusted three times and after 5 years of use the french doors are difficult at best to close. We have to shut the french doors with focus to ensure they close properly. Looking at the door hinges it appears they are not designed to hold any significant weight and over time the hinges wear out with minimual use. This will be the second Bosch appliance I will have replaced in 5 years and would strongly suggest the quality of Bosch products has declined significantly.

Ice maker has slowed down

The ice maker used to produce plenty of ice but after 4 years it has stopped producing as much. I have defrosted and done everything suggested.

Nothing good about this refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It rusts everywhere even with frequent cleaning with appropriate stainless steel cleaner. The ice machine is awful, loud and produces very little ice. The plastic shelves are flimsy and not made well, ever last door shelf has broken. The water and ice buttons are finicky and work when only you have the exact pressure to trigger them. The stainless steel never looks good despite endless cleaning! Do not buy this fridge !
