looks great, but...

we bought this fridge 2 years ago and the freezer handle broke into pieces this weekend! We are only 2 adults using the fridge / freezer (no kids) so really disappointing for it to fall apart like this with such limited use....the printing on the interior shelves is also completely worn off. I love the fridge, but giving it a 2 star for quality. Also, NOTE that the Bosch stainless steel cleaner (sold on the Bosch website) strips the paint off all plastic parts on the fridge!

Slow ice & annoying alarm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a solid unit, but for the price the ice maker should be able to produce ice faster. The alarm goes off way too soon and keeps aggrevating you even after you acknowlege it.

I appreciate Bosch's transparency in publishing their authentic reviews from their customers. I have decided based on these less-than-glowing reviews, to not purchase Bosch. Yes I did see that some customers were very happy, on the other hand, issues with noise, rust, customer satisfaction, operator's manual not included with product, ice-maker defects ... just far too many negatives. I absolutely loved the exterior & interior design, but the manufacturing

Not very happy with this purchase

I have had this fridge for 4 years now. The icons have worn off and the amount of effort to get the water to come out is infuriating every time I want to fill a glass. You have press the buttons many times before it works. The ice bin is VERY small and I have had to have it repaired twice since purchasing. Basically, this was a ten year mistake. At least it keeps the food cold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 1/2 years ago, it has now quit cooling. Other problems we have had is you have to fight the water and ice buttons to get them to work, noisy, and the ice does not keep up with a family of 4.

Silent and spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy with my fridge. Only complaint is buttons on door you have to push hard. Love alarm with kids if door left open. Very happy. Also bought gas stove top, dishwasher and double oven. All working great.
