Highly Commendable Bosch Quality

LED Lighting, digital temperature display is an impeccable addition, to this ultra modern euro design. Very clean. The smaller ice compartment was well thought out to make for more room for more our more important food items. Ice qty for us has not been an issue, as we do not use 3 truck loads per day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Water / Ice dispenser manual, not automatic

The basic body of this refridgerater is sturdy and attractive. Drawers have metal slides which is nice. BUT the water and ice dispenser requires pushing a button not pushing a lever in the back.. We assumed there was some auto sensor but not the case and no one told us... This may seem small problem but very difficult as you must always use two hands when getting ice or water. PLUS the buttons you must push are very hard to find the right spot... Must move finger over the buttons in many directions before it actually dispenses. Only about 20 cubes are produced a day by top ice maker, which i also not good.

Not happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our fridge was included with our home purchase as part of a kitchen package upgrade and is not much older then three years old at this time. At first we enjoyed the beauty and functionality with sleek touch button controls and easy access to water and ice. Sadly this enjoyment has led to dissapointment. About a month ago the refridgeration compartment suddely malfunctioned and stopped cooling. This has led to three separate visits by two different service companies to try and diagnose the issue. Currently we are waiting for parts that include the main control board and defrost sensors while our food continues to spoil. Our service companies have told us these parts are not easy to source which had led to further frustration. Our family is anxious to get it repaired and honestly we feel this product has not undergone the quality testing it most likely needs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stylish and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced all of our appliances with Bosch and have been so pleased. We were used to a side by side refrigerator/freezer and were unsure as to how to rework our "system" (yes, we are creatures of habit). We cannot tell you how pleased we are with the French doors and the spacing. We can put twice as many items in both sections and can actually see what we have. Very happy with the purchase and the quality.

Horrible! Save Your Money!

This thing is a pain in the backside. No matter what you set your fridge or freezer to, it freezes everything in the refrigerator lunch meat drawer and veggie drawer. Plus, it doesn't seem to make any ice in the ice maker. We might get a couple of glasses full of ice, but forget about filling everybody's glass for a meal. The ice hopper is very shallow and doesn't hold much ice. And, it takes a good 24 hours to get another couple of glasses of ice. Horrible product. I won't be buying Bosch again.

Loud motor and freezer door "clunks"

We renovated our kitchen recently and decided to go high-end on the appliances. Bosch HMC80252UC/01 Micro, HBL8752UCC/01 Convection Oven, SHXM98W75N dishwasher, and the reason for this review B26FT80SNS/03 fridge. We are very pleased with all the appliances except the fridge. When the compressor runs it is loud, really loud (as in, you can hear it across the house). Also, when the freezer door is opened for the first time after it's been closed for a few hours, it makes a loud clunking noise and you can actually feel the clunk resonate in your hand when opening the door. The unit is now out of warranty, but I had a service call while it was still under warranty and the tech didn't do anything other than inspect and wiggle a few things. I was told that the compressor should quiet down with time. Unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. And he made an adjustment on the door, which didn't fix anything. I should have persued this while still warranted but now I'm stuck with this clearly defective unit, which is my fault for not following up. The clunk isn't that big of a deal, but I fear the comressor is going to fail as it keeps getting louder. Unit is about 1 1/2 year old now.
As for the other appliances, they're great. Dishwasher is particularly amazing, it's so quiet that I really do sometimes have to look at the red light it shines on the floor to see if it's running.

Inferior product for such a high end brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Occasionally noisy, in fact I was worried it was broken when first installed. The touch buttons are not sensitive enough, requires lots of pushing to get ice or water to get going. The worst of it is that the bottom drawer in the fridge freezes everything you put in there. I've tried adjusting the temperature, still freezes the food (its now empty, wasted space). The ice maker is difficult to remove.
