I am a MountainDewFan and I could not stand DietDew because of the Aspartame.

I bought the Soda Stream with the glass carafe and I am glad I did. I don't like to have any
liquids I drink to be sitting in plastic for any length of time.

Great product, but...
The button broke within a year and we had to get a replacement.
Good news is that it has a 2 year warranty and Soda Stream replaced the entire unit without issue.
Had to do without a few days, but they willingly covered it.
Makes me cautious though about the longevity. It is, after all, plastic under high pressure.

I have my soda stream for only a few weeks, but I love it and recommend it highly. Easy to use and I can have seltzer whenever I want at very little cost
