Great Original Flavor!

I have been using Soda Stream from the beginning. When they switched to those fountain style flavors I was not happy at all, the flavors were not as good, but I stuck with them. Now the original flavors are back! The taste is great. Don't understand the negative reviews I've read. Some people are just very particular I guess. Even my wife started to drink it, and she detests diet soda, so the fact that she likes this says it all. And the Cherry Cola is her favorite.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sucralose aftertaste, smells inedible

Very surprised at how gross this tastes. We make flavored water with our sodastream and I was excited to try Cherry cola. The smell of the syrup was strongly artificial but I made the bottle as directed anyway. The taste is just as strong and just as chemical, plus an aftertaste similar to a diet drink. Please use real sugar and get rid of the sucralose!!! This was like cough syrup flavored water.

My husband and I had been talking for years about getting a sodastream and finally we did. We love it, we bought 3 flavors to make in it, cherry cola (as cherry coke is one of our favorite sodas), root beer, and lemon-lime. We LOVE the root beer and the lemon-lime our children love. They said it is just like sprite, which is my daughter's favorite soda. But the cherry soda just didn't taste right, at first we thought it was because we put too much carbonation in it so we added a bit more syrup. But that didn't help. I can't really figure out the taste, but we don't like it. No, we will not recommend the cherry cola flavor. The other two are wonderful though.

Did SodaStream replace the Black Cherry flavor with Cherry Cola? Why?? Black Cherry was so much better and I want it back.

We prefer to drink diet cherry cola. However, they do not make diet cherry cola any longer so we are stuck buying this and having to mix it with diet cola to get the cherry flavoring. It's a major pain in the rear and I would way prefer to be able to purchase diet cherry cola! If they made a diet version, those 2 stars would go to 5!

I like the idea of making soda at home for the kids. We started out tasting the cherry soda first as it is our favorite soda flavor. We disappointed with the lack of cherry in the cherry soda. It tasted more like chemicals or like artificial flavoring expected in diet sodas which I never liked nor buy.

This one tastes like plastic, its really gross and i do NOT recommend buying until sodastream improves the flavor... sad because cherry coke is my favorite.
