BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL MY WATER ESSENCE!!!!! WHY WHY DO YOU HAVE TO SWEENTEN EVERYTHING. I BOUGHT MY SODA STREAM BECAUSE I COULD MAKE UNSWEETENED FLAVORED WATER. THE THREE PACK OF UNSWEETENED IS A TOTAL WASTE WHEN YOU ONLY LIKE ONE OF THE FLAVORS IN THE 3 PACK. SO I AM GOING TO GET RID OF MY SODA STREAM MACHINE. WHAT GOOD IS IT WHEN THE MANUFACTURE NO LONGER SUPPORTS THEIR PRODUCT.

If You Like Stevia This Is For You

I see why people are upset. Stevia and erythritol are natural sweeteners in the sense they are derived from organic sources, but they are far far far sweeter than sucrose, fructose, corn syrup, sugar cane and/or any of the beta sugars, and they are processed just like any other additive that foes into any food product you buy.
When people want to drink sparkling water with an essence of flavor, some do not want to be overwhelmed with a sugary taste and these sugar substitutes are far sweeter than even standard granular sugar.
Anyway, if I want my sparkling water I make with my Revolution to taste like lemon then I just pour in some lemon juice and or squeeze it into the sparking water. Comes out great and no sweeteners I do not like.

What the heck happened?

This is just awful stuff. Why do all these revamped, "improved" flavors, well, stink? I would use another word, but my review would probably not make it up, and consumers need to know that the sodastream has really replaced up great products for weak, chemical-residue ones.

Like so many others, I waited for SodaStream to come out with its "replacement" for the My Water essences, especially the lemon-lime flavor (the only one I used). What a joke! This tastes horrible, adds sweetener, which I don't want, and doesn't even taste like real lemon. I'm having trouble justifying even using my SodaStream. Who was the genius who decided to throw out ALL the flavors, including customer favorites, and replace them with these more expensive, yucky tasting alternatives???

Light and refreshing

I'm not a huge fan of plain seltzer water really, but with the lemon essence it is light and refreshing. It has just enough lemon flavor to compliment the sour. I have made several bottles and I find myself drinking 100% of each drink which means I like it.
I read all the My Water complaints below and cannot lie, I have two packs of those, but I never figured out how to use them because you need so little of it and I never figured out how to measure it accurately to put it in the bottle. There is no doubt the My Water is a better value. The fact that the three bottles takes up no space in the fridge is a bonus. But I would have liked them better if they came with a measuring lid like this product does.
I'm successful using this product making a drink that I actually drink fairly regularly. I wish it came in a smaller bottle which it easily could considering how watery the product is, but for me that is the only downside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible! Bring the old flavors back!

What happened to the old essence flavors that had no added sugars or sugar substitues??? I invested in a soda stream to avoid buying flavored seltzer waters at the store - now my machine is useless, since I don't drink sodas.
Buyer beware!!! These are not the original unsweetened flavors you are used to! They have added stevia to this mix and ruined a good product.
