Not the same as the old flavor, but passable.

My favorite of the old 50 serving Sodamix flavors was diet pink grapefruit. I still have 4 tubs of those as they have been discontinued, and got this to decide whether or not to stockpile what I could find of the old.
While the value is certainly less (based on the calculation, 72% at the same price,) the flavor is still good. It is more natural, and a bit less artificial tasting. If you are a fan of intense flavors, you may find yourself using more mix than directed. I always use a bit less mix than the directions state as I am not a big fan of intense flavors.
Also, the cap needs to have a new line added for those of us using the half liter bottles.

Bravo to Sodastream for bringing back the origInal formulas for OTHER flavors. Why not this one? This one is watered down and not at all like the original.

I wish I could write a good review, I really do. But I'm disappointed at Sodastream taking all these flavors in house with their own formulas. The tastes are watered down, for lack of a better description, and miss the tang and bite of the legacy flavors they offered, marketed under brands by third parties. I must find another manufacturer to get the flavor I like. I'm sorry, but the new stuff is terrible!

I thought you just changed the packaging and made the bottle smaller (for more $, which is bad enough), but no, it tastes different too! And not different in a good way. Also, it is very difficult to read the marlins inside the cap. Sad that it seems to be the same story for all your redesigned products. Looks like I'll have to look for another place to buy my soda flavorings now.
