SodaStream used to offer a decent range of delicious diet flavors. A year or two ago, most of them were (a) eliminated completely, or (b) replaced by vastly inferior and usually unpleasant new versions, or (c) replaced by flavored waters, which I found as close to tasteless as made no difference. The only acceptable exceptions were the diet orange and diet ginger ale. The diet root beer wasn't as vile as the others, but it suffered from a chemical/medicinal aftertaste. I very recently decided to give the root beer another chance, and I'm glad I did: it's very nearly as good as it originally was; perhaps when I've had another bottle or two of it, I'll conclude that it's just as good. Now if they'll only come to their senses and re-release their diet creme, diet pink grapefruit, and diet cranberry-raspberry (the original version, before they mucked it up by partnering with Ocean Spray).

I am severely disabled from a chornic illness so lugging packs of soda and water is out of the question for me. With Sodastream my family cane have all the flavored water and soda they want, (or I allow.)
